Summary: | In the recent technological development of the high-speed network, it is mandatory to have the reliable, secure and uninterrupted connection for various use cases in automotive and commercial industry. Beam Scanning feature of the antennas can ensure the mentioned features for the effective communication. This article presents the compact circularly polarized patch antenna with wide band 3-dB axial ratio bandwidth. Also, the linear array is proposed in the form of multi-input-multi-output configuration. The proposed design resonates in n257 frequency band dedicated for the 5G communications and achieves the gain of 15.2 dBi with 3-dB axial ratio of 700 MHz. The beam scanning feature of the design demonstrates the ±30° beam shift. The performance parameters of the design are suitable for various automotive 5G applications. |
