Summary:Owing to the benefits of resilience and flexibility, the distributed energy storage plays an important role in the demand-response of the modern power grids. In this paper, two typical resilient distributed energy storage sources, namely, the electric vehicle (EV) and user-side energy storage (UES), are considered. The scheduling potential models of the individual EV and the aggregate EVs are developed from the perspectives of power and energy. Moreover, the parameters of EVs and the stochastic factors such as time instants of grid-connection and off-grid are all revealed in the developed models. Similarly, the scheduling potential models of the individual UES and the aggregate UESs are also developed. For the purpose of maximizing the revenue in the electricity market, a optimal scheduling model is designed by taking the aggregators of EV and UES as well as the parameters of electric market into account. Finally, simulation studies are carried out to verify the effectiveness of the proposed models.
