Summary: | This paper introduces a resonant dc-dc converter that operated at MHz frequency that immanently attain a output current of load-independent, enduring high performance over a wide output voltage range. These assets make the resonant LCL-T converter applicable for automotive LED driver utilization, where a varying number of LEDs need to be driven with a constant current. The resonant LCL-T converter achieves current output which is load-independent by employing an LCL-T resonant network and attain high performance by working at a fixed switching frequency with upgraded magnetics. By engrossing phase shift control the output current of the converter is regulated. A model of LCL-T resonant converter has been anticipated with output current of 0.5A which is constant and an output voltage amplitude of 3V to 50V with 1 to 25 LEDs at 2MHz frequency. |
