Record-High Output Power from Single-Mode Fiber of 15xx-Nm Pumps for U-Band Raman Amplifiers
We demonstrate record-high power 15xx-nm Raman pumps of 0.78W fiber output at 35 °C, while keeping a single transverse mode using a low optical confinement laser chip consisting of multi-stacked GaInAsP/InP electric field control layers for U-band Raman amplifiers.
