Summary:This paper focuses on the leader-follower multi-agent system(MAS) and investigates the time-varying formation control of MAS with privacy preserving under multi-rate sampling mechanism. Firstly, virtual agent introduction mechanism is adopted to protect the real-time state privacy of real followers; To address the issue that leader state measurement is not entirely available for all followers in cyberspace, a distributed observer is constructed to estimate the state tracking error of each follower and leader; Finally, a time-varying formation control scheme is designed based on the constructed tracking observer and multi-rate sampling mechanism. Numerical simulation is carried out to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.
