Summary:As a typical wired network system, Ethernet is susceptible to external field interference caused by cable coupling, which can disrupt data transmission and significantly affect communication efficiency and quality. This paper investigates the effects of cable-induced conductive susceptibility. Basic signals are utilized as interference signals, and the Bulk Current Injection (BCI) method is applied for conductive susceptibility testing. The findings indicate that the system's susceptibility behavior is independent of time and bandwidth. Moreover, the system exhibits heightened vulnerability within the high-frequency range from 25 MHz to 255 MHz. Regarding protective measures, it was found that using shielded twisted pairs did not enhance the system's resistance to interference. Consequently, special attention needs to be given to electromagnetic protection measures.
