Summary: | This paper investigates the stability of a second-order ODE coupled with a heat PDE system under PWM control inputs. First, the duty cycle scheme of the PWM controller is designed according to the overall state of the system to realize the stability of the coupled system. Secondly, we prove the stability of the coupled system of second-order ordinary differential equations and classical heat equations by using the Lyapunov generalization technique as well as the backstepping method. Finally, we give a numerical example of a second-order ODE-PDE coupled system to illustrate the validity of our theoretical results. |
