Summary:Outdated systems and limited visibility are prevalent issues in 90% of Thai warehouses. The high costs of full automation often pose a challenge to modernization. This research introduces a highly cost-effective solution: a realtime UWB tracking system that tracks forklifts, not individual pallets. This approach significantly reduces picking times and minimizes inventory errors, leading to near-automated efficiency at a fraction of the cost. Our in-house Warehouse Management Software, UNAI, seamlessly integrates with the system for realtime inventory tracking and product updates. A path-based reference method ensures superior product location accuracy. Data privacy is a top priority, with a dedicated server eliminating the need for expensive cloud services. This solution's benefits are significant and manifold, including improved operational efficiency, reduced costs, and enhanced inventory management.
