Distributed Strain Sensor Based on Double-Wavelength phi-OTDR

We propose a new phase recovery approach in a phiOTDR based on weak fiber Bragg gratings (wFBG), utilizing two matched wavelengths. The method and an experimental setup are described. The presented experimental strain measuring results demonstrate an error of less than 5 \mu \mathrm{m}.
