Summary:The article examines the problem of changing the shape of the radiation pattern of the antenna located on board of the launch vehicle. Numerical electromagnetic modeling was carried out in the time domain of the problem of radiation from an on-board antenna, taking into account the body of the launch vehicle and the influence of the plasma plume of the rocket engine. Pictures of the spatial distribution of the amplitude and phase of the electromagnetic field for both cases were obtained, and the radiation patterns were calculated. It follows from the work that turning on the engine reduces the level of the radiation pattern by 47.72 dB compared to the original value. The new main lobe of the radiation pattern is shifted by 75.7 degrees relative to the old one, and its shape becomes jagged.
