Summary:Driving type and environment as well as driving IoT fatigue are issues that affect road safety and can lead to serious accidents. Early detection of fatigue in drivers is therefore of paramount importance to prevent road accidents. This article discusses various methods of detecting fatigue in driving, including physiological measures, behavioral signals, and onboard loT sensors. It highlights the progress made in this field, the challenges to overcome, and future prospects for improving fatigue detection while driving. It also touches on the use of Intelligent Transportation Systems, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, levels of automation in driving according to SAE International and ADAS protocols and infrastructure, and the integration of artificial intelligence and machine learning for fatigue detection.
