Summary:Currently, using technological tools in education has made it compulsory to learn about these tools. For preservice teachers, who are students at education faculties at universities, it seems very important that they make use of these tools in their professional lives and teach them to their pupils. The teaching materials designed and prepared in digital environments introduced the concept of e-books. The purpose of this study was to determine the views of preservice teacher about e-books and the level of their general knowledge about these kinds of technological tools. The subjects in this study consisted of 543 (310 females and 233 males) students. In line with the purpose of this study, both qualitative and quantitative methods were applied. The results demonstrated that the use of e-books increased in accordance with the students’ levels.
