SOME NEW EIGENVALUE UPPER BOUNDS FOR EUCLIDEAN HYPERSURFACES
We first prove a new lower bound for the moment of inertia of a hypersurface of the Euclidean space. Then, using it, we derive some new upper bounds for the first eigenvalue of a wide class of differential and pseudodifferential operators.
