Summary: | This quantitative and qualitative research analyzes the impact of the WeVideo cloud service during the teaching-learning process. The students of the Computational Mathematics subject used this web application with the purpose of constructing and presenting diverse audiovisual contents related to the topics of Database, ERP System, CRM System and Data Mining. The sample consists of 20 students who were studying the Bachelor in Business Management and Information Technology during the 2017 school year. The results obtained indicate that WeVideo is an ideal tool for the educational process due to the fact that students have an active role in learning during the creation and presentation of audiovisual content. Data science identifies 4 predictive models on the use of WeVideo in the educational field by means of the decision tree technique. WeVideo encourages students' creativity, allows the development of skills, favors collaboration between classmates and increases motivation. In conclusion, new technologies facilitate the planning and implementation of innovative and creative scenarios for learning and teaching. |
