Summary: | The electrochemical properties of [Rh(([C.sub.4][H.sub.3]S)COCHCO(R))(CO)(P[Ph.sub.3])] (with R = [C.sub.4][H.sub.3]S, [C.sub.6][H.sub.5], C[F.sub.3]) were determined through cyclic voltammetry and the results were compared with Hammett constants and group electro-negativities. We obtained good correlations which enable the synthesis of rhodium complexes with specific characteristics through modelling with computational chemistry. |
