The contribution describes author's own analyses of goats before, during and after giving. The most important attachment after birth is between female goat and new-born kid. This attachment is especially important in meat breeding orientation, where feeded kid is the only income. There are many reasons for rejection of kids by mother goats. Female goat has extraordinary strong senses and she perceives some unpleasant sensations like strange odour or pain that diverts her from her own new-born kid. Mother's rejection is temporary or permanently. Young kids are first days after birth existentially depend on mother's milk. Therefore mother's rejection can be fatal. From analysis of reasons for rejections the author of report made conclusion that the main reason for rejections is the pain in suckles caused by sucking. Mastitis is the main reason for the pain during sucking. This disease can occur before or after giving birth. The strange odour as the second reason of permanent rejecting occures in very small share (2.2 %) at very rare female goats.
