Summary:In Zimbabwe, a number of species with potential for planning exist. Acacia species have certain attributes which make them suitable for planting. They produce large amounts of seed, they are easy to grow, they have a relatively faster groth rate, they produce a number of products and are browsed by liverstock. Anetwork of trials is being established in the dry south-western parts of Zimbabwe.
