Summary:The measurements of raduoactive cesium proved that the radionuclides, which are fission products, came in Montenegro (Yugoslavia) after the Chernobil (USSR) accident and remained in the soil. Data about presence, absorption and migration of radionuclides in soil are still very scarce. Knowledge of these data and processes in biosphere, as well as the factors they depend on, are of the great interest with respect to the needs of human health protection. Therefore, further and intensified investigation on these topics should be planned and carried out in Montenegro (Yugoslavia)
