Summary:The efficiency of different application techniques of chelate preparations Sequestrene-138, Savastrene-S-Fe, Fe-urea citrate and diluted sulphuric acid in eliminating Fe chlorosis in apple trees grown on limy soils was studied. The results obtained proved that all the three chelate preparations applied had positive effect in correcting Fe chlorosis. They were more efficient when they had been added to soil than applied on leaves. Chelate preparations added to soil and the application of diluted sulphuric acid displayed beneficial effect next year.
