Summary:This paper presents problems of power consumption in soil tillage by classic implements and combined implements RAU-Multitiler. With classic tillage it is necessary to make a number of canals with disk harrows and combined implements for the preparation of soil before sowing. By the application of Multitiler, the number of canals and thus power consumption per unit area are reduced. The investigated implements are suitable both for arid conditions and for hard soils.
