Summary:Dimension of a young Scotch pine (Pinus sylvestris L.) depends a great deal on the number of plants in containers' cells and is particularly prominent in the diameter. The plants growing alone in the cells have the highest average values of diameter and height. With the increase of the number of plants in the cells the values of this characteristics reduce. In all the variants the differences are significant only at the level 0,001 whereas at the level 0.05 in one case only.
