Summary:Storage Moravica is built on stream Krivaja in 1981. Its main purpose is providing resources for watering the nearby agricultural land. This paper presents the elements of water balance of the water reservoir, which need to be known for managing the storage properly. Inappropriate water management due to lack of data might result extreme situations like that in 1999. The crest of the emergency spillway was risen by wooden planks over it, as a consequence the water excess which occurred that year resulted flood over village Moravica, even the dam became endangered.
