Summary:The technical-technological parameters of Yugoslav oleic-type sunflower seed Olivko were investigated. The hull and oil content of the new hybrid are similar to the standard sunflower types. The oil yield obtained by pressing on low capacity screw - press is practically the same as of NS-H-111 hybrid. However, the composition of the obtained non-refined oil is significantly different from the standard linoleic - type sunflower oil. Due to high oleic acid and low linoleic acid content, the stability of this oil is very good.
