Summary: | Tetra SL pullets of the same hatch (age) and grown on the same farm under the same husbandry and feeding conditions for laying period were transferred at two laying farms under different husbandry and feeding conditions. During 52 and 56 weeks production period Tetra SL layers at Branicevo farm (Serbia, Yugoslavia) were better in laying performance and feed efficiency, and layers at Svilajnac farm (Serbia, Yugoslavia) in average egg weight, somewhat lower mortality and heavier birds at the end of laying. Between two mentioned farms during production period, there were pronounced differences in the pattern of laying rate, feed consumption per egg produced, ratio egg mass produced/feed consumed and birds mortality. |
