Summary:The investigation results show that addition of preparation MyoferR in the quantity of 0.5 ml per turkey chick (50 mg of utilizable Fe) has a favourable effect on growth rate, feed conversion and general health of animals during the first 6 weeks of fattening. Since the experiment was short, and on the basis of the obtained results no conclusions about the effect of addition of iron on the total fattening effects can be drawn. The obtained results, however, as well as some obtained in previous investigations point to the possibility of achieving considerable economic effects in industrial fattening, but this ought to be proved by experiment.
