Summary:The authors describe the anatomo-histopathological and radiological findings observed in some Tibetan goats affected by mandibular osteodystrophy. Because of their findings the authors point out the pathogenetic effectiveness of vasomotor alterations together with general dysmetabolisms not connected with feeding in producing the bony alteration of the jaw. Gli AA. descrivono gli attributi anatomo-istopatologici rilevati in alcune caprette tibetane colpite da osteodistrofia mandibolare rilevabile anche radiologicamente. Sulla base dei loro reperti prospettano la validita patogenetica di alterazioni vaso-motorie accompagnantesi a dismetabolismi generali non necessariamente connessi con l'alimentazione nel determinismo dell'alterazione ossea mandibolare.
