Summary:Twelve pregnant buffaloes were experimentally infected with approximately 30,000 infective eggs of Toxocara vitulorum. Six animals were treated with Tetramisole on the 7th day following artificial infection. The other 6 animals were kept as control. Examination of milk samples of the treated animals after parturition did not reveal any larva of T. vitulorum whereas in every untreated animals the larva was detected in the milk sample.
