Identifying 3 cocoyam varieties with high quality and yield and free-desease is: SDK 350/10345 with the yield of 20.06 tons/ ha, SDK 10368 with the yield of 19.82 tons/ ha, Phuoc so Nghe An with the yield of 19.08 tons/ ha, which is higher than the control of 28.79-35.45%. The cocoyam variety collection for trials has growth duration of 8-10 months. The crop rotation can be designed on field 1 rice crop and 1 foodstuff crop/ food crop with infertility and shortage of irrigation to diversify crop plants and products as well as increase income on cultivation land unit. It is recommended that 3 varieties of SDK 350/10345, SDK 10368 and Phuoc so Nghe An should be recognized and multiplied varieties for production. IPM and ICM for cocoyam should be studied and carried out in the coming time.
