Effect of seasoning on yield of Broiler chicken

Broiler chicken reared in summer show lower body weight gain by 10-12 percent, lower feed consumption by 8-9 percent, lower survival rate by 5.1-5.4 percent, and higher feed expenditure by 2.2-4.4 percent as compared with those reared in winter.
