Summary:The present paper deals with the descriptions and illustrations of two new diplogastrid species, Koerneria Jalcespicula sp. n. and Butlerius sclerovaginatus sp. n. from India. K. jalcespicula sp. n. is characterised by small stoma with faint or obscure cheilostomal rugae; claw-shaped dorsal and right subventral metastegostomal teeth and left subventral serrated plate; long, filiform tail and males with very slender, sickle-shaped spicules; gubernaculum with attenuated proximal end; bursa absent and nine pairs of largely papilliform genital sensilla with v5 and v6 much closer than v7. The gononchoristic species B. sclerovaginatus sp. n. is characterised by longitudinal striated and punctated cuticle with demarcated lateral fields; metastegostom an isomorphic with a large dorsal tooth and small subventral tooth; vagina forming a polygonal chamber with cuticularised pieces and a pair of vaginal glands; males with arcuate spicules, with fine tridented distal end and genital papillae eight pairs with two precloacal and six postcloacal pairs.
