Summary:In the Technological Institute of Milk and Meat (Kiev, Ukraine) a protein food product containing dry blood of slaughter animals, milk protein concentrate, egg powder and sucrose is developed. The product differs from the known ones in that it contains soybean protein concentrate, methionine, honey, vitamins B1, B2, B6, B9, PP, C and pectins. The dry blood is used in a clarified state for imparting to the product an appetite-looking appearance. The clinical testing showed that this product is of high nutritive value, has therapeutic effect, radioprotective properties that make it possible to use it for additional and dietetic nutrition of healthy and diseased people which need increased quantities of protein, vitamins and easy digestible ferrum.
