Summary:This study was carried out between 1999-2001 at Yalova Atatürk Central Hort. Res. Ins., under unheated plastic tunnels. The aim of this study determines the best growing period and sowing dates in the south Marmara region. In the trial tree different varieties were used that Şeker Ayşe and Boncuk Ayşe and Helda. 3 different sowing dates were used that 15 days intervals beginning from 15th March in the spring and 15th July in the fall period. According to the results, 15th March (4,4 tons/da) was determined as the best sowing date and also Helda cv. was given the highest yield (4,1 tons/da). Deneme 1999-2001 yılları arasında Atatürk Bahçe Kültürleri Merkez Araştırma Enstitüsü plastik seralarında yürütülmüştür. Çalışmanın amacı, Güney Marmara ekolojisinde örtüaltı fasulye yetiştiriciliğinde uygun ekim dönemi ve tarihinin tespit edilmesidir. Denemede üç fasulye çeşidi (Boncuk Ayşe, Şeker Ayşe ve Helda) iki farklı ekim dönemi (ilkbahar ve sonbahar) ve üç farklı ekim tarihi (15 Mart, 01 Nisan ve 15 Nisan ile 15 Temmuz, 01 Ağustos ve 15 Ağustos) kullanılmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda, en fazla verimin Helda çeşidinden alındığı ve en uygun ekim zamanın da ilkbahar döneminde 15 Mart tarihi olduğu belirlenmiştir.
