Summary:Classification of land snails in the present study were carried out from samples collected from Khao Ang Rue Nai Wildlife Sanctuary. The results showed that land snails found in the present study had 2 subclasses. In Subclass Prosobranchia, comprising of land snails with an operculum, there were 2 Families 3 Species, including Family Cyclophoridae (Cyclophorus speciosus and Rhiostoma housei) and Family Pupinidae (Moulinsia sp.). In Subclass Pulmonata, comprising of snails that have no operculum and use lung as a gas-exchanging organ, there were representative of 4 Families and 10 Species, including Family Ariophantidae (Hemiplecta distincta and Elaphoconcha amphidroma), Family Camaenidae (Amphidromus atricallosus, A. laidlawi, A. glaucolarynx, A. columelaris, Amphidromus sp. I and Amphidromus sp. 2), Family Bradybaenidae (Bradybaena sp.), and Family Helicarionidae (Helixarion sp.). In addition, there were samples of 3 more species that were not able to identify due to lack of information and identified specimens for comparison.
