Summary:Choice of appropriate soil protection measures against soil erosion (caused by water) is based on the knowledge concerning soil loss intensity as well as areal distribution of erosion in conditions of study area. Soil protection against erosion is understood as a complex of measures (organization, agrotechnical, biological and technical) appropriate for decreasing of soil matter loss under limit values mentioned in Act No 220/2004 of Code. User of soil has the possibility for the access to essential information on soil erosion intensity and its areal distribution by using of interactive model for determination of soil erosion. On the basis of obtained information is possible to project appropriate measures to combat soil erosion with the purpose to decrease of soil loss in accordance with Act No 220/2004 of Code. Structure of on-line application is based on the predictive, erosive model of Universal soil loss equation in GIS. Actualised digital layers of erosive factors (erosivity of rainfall, erodibility of soil, influence of relief and cover management) were used for the creation this interactive model.
