Summary:The paper is focused on analyses of calculation results of consumptive water use Vc for selected crops using the climate change scenarios for Slovakia according to the technical standard (STN no 83 0635) and modeled values of potential evapotranspiration ET0 according to FAO methodology for time horizons of the years 2010, 2030, and 2075. The authors found out the increase of potential evapotranspiration of special crops for both evaluated scenarios (CCCMprep and GISSpr6p). The increase of ET0 for GISSprep scenario is within the interval 3-51%. Mean potential evapotranspiration value of vegetables will increase by approximately 23% and for special plants by approximately 34%. The analyses of the results also showed indisputable limitation of recently used method for water demands calculation for special plants and vegetables for climate change scenarios for the year 2075 in irrigation practice of Slovakia.
