Summary:This paper concern with evaluating of content of trace element as As, Cr, Ni and Pb, in the humic horizons of soils in the Biele Karpaty Mountain and contiguous part of Myjava downs. The total content of study of trace elements was measured by basic statistical parameters (minimum, maximum value, arithmetic, and geometric mean, standard deviation, median, number of samples). The space distribution of trace elments was showed by kriging method in the map of trace elements contents in this region. The increased contents of Cr and Ni were occurred in the agricultural soils. These concentrations exceed the new hygienic limit (No. 220/2004 Z.z.) in Slovak Republic.
