Summary:There is always more and more used the water as a supporting means of nutrients /e.g. fertigation/ from some progressive methods of irrigation and fertilization of the orchards in the fruit-growing field. The need of nutrients can be found out directly from the structure of plants. Fertigation is a very advantageous manner of irrigation in the high density orchards [8, 12] and also the subject of the research work with the title: The interactive effect of irrigation and fertilization on the apple-trees, which is resolved by The Research Institute of Irrigation, Drainage and Landscape Engineering, Bratislava. The subject of this work is located in the western part of The Zitny Island and also in the territory of The Podunajska lowland. There are planted 3 winter cultivars of apple in the orchard - Gala, Jonagold, Idared. They are fertilized in 4 levels during the various phenophases. The qualitative evaluation of the crop was done in 1999 and 2000 - vegetation season. The alternation of the fertility was confirmed minimally by one of the 3 cultivars (especially by Jonagold). The raising of the crop of apple by means of irrigation is generally known. It's proved by the results of a great number of the research works and also by the wide irrigated practise. By the certain level of fertilizing and irrigation and their synergic effect can be the increased crop putted through
