Summary:Not only natural but also anthropogenic stress factors reduce photosynthesis and subsequently growth and development to a great extent. Determining photochemical capacity by chlorophyll fluorescence measurement makes it possible to detect already weak, temporary disturbances in photosynthesis. With the help of portable fluorimeter data on induction curve of rapid fluorescence kinetics (parameters Fsubo, Fsubmax, quotient Fsubv/Fsubmax, Tsubmax) can be obtained. Standardization of obtaining the samples as well as of measurements in different phases of recovery admits a small extent of random samples in the research of forest stands
