Summary: | We observed carcass composition in heifer of Slovak Pied (S), improved Slovak Pied (ZS), Slovak Pinzgau (SP), improved Slovak Pied x Limousine breed (ZSxLi) and improved Slovak Pied x Blonde d'Aqutaine breed (ZSxBa). After slaughter the carcass was classified by EUROP system of beef carcass classification (5 classes of conformation and 5 classes of fatness). Percentage of beef in conformation classes was E 81.04 %,U 78.52 %, R 76.39 %, O 75.53 % and P 73.90 %. Most differences between classes were significant. Percentage of separable fat was significantly different between classes of fatness (1= 2.6 1%, 2= 5.79 %, 3= 7.52 %, 4= 8.07 %, 5= 11.99 %) |
