Summary:After the succesful sanation of sulphorous air pollution from thermal power plants remains pollution by photooxidants and other secundary air pollutants the major air pollution stressor in the plant production As a part of ICP-Vegetation program the investigations and monitoring of photooxidants influence on growth, injuries and physiological parameters of ozone resistant (NC-R) and ozone sensitive (NC-S) white clover clones Trifolium repens 'Regal' were continued in year 2000. The article deals with some results from sites at Rakican, Ljubjana and Iskrba. The contribution of meteorological parameters and air pollutants on net photosynthesis, increase of biomass and visual ozone injuries was studied using an ANN method (Artificial Neural Networks). The results from Rakican showed high impact of ozone concentration on net photosynthesis value, so the photosynthesis can be considered as a good indicator of high ozone concentration influence. Comparison of contribution of measured parameters on biomass increase showed that due to heterogenity of growth conditions no single 'most important' parameter can be exposed. In any case, there is higher contribution of harmful ozone impact in rural environement (Iskrba, Rakican) what could be worrifing due to the location of agricultural production.
