Summary:Three different recipient systems have been investigated with respect to their effect on genetic transformation of alfalfa, clover, and rape by Agrobacterium. The efficiency of each culture transformation depended on the type of the used recipient system. The advantage of the newly designed system of disconnected dominating centers for genetic transformation in clover and alfalfa was shown. The plant transformants were obtained with the use of all the three recipient systems: small heterogenous explants, disconnected dominating centers, and suspension cell culture. A morpho-physiological expression of a target gene in plant transformants was detected. The results of transformation were approved with the use of the molecular biology methods
