Summary:The effect of plant growth regulators zircon and carvitol on the Dialog and Molva buckwheat cultivars relating to different genotypes was studied in laboratory and microfield experiments. The area of trial plots was 1 sq. m., repeatedness was three-hold. In the budding phase – starting blossom plants were sprayed by zircon and carvitol solutions at the same concentrations. The seeds of both cultivars were susceptibe to the effect of zircon. An increasing in germinating power was up to 10% compared to the control. The treatment with zircon and carvitol solutions of wheat plants stimulated the growth of main stem and side shoots. Zircon and carvitol increased the growth intensity of vegetative and generative organs, stimulated the development of buckwheat plants, and increased the content of photosynthetic pigments. The combina¬tion of the preplant seed treatment and the spraying of vegetating plants in the budding-early flowering stage increased the yielding capacity of buckwheat. The cultivar-specific effect of bioregulators was clearly manifested
