Summary: | In this paper sensory evaluation of quality of apples fruit was done. We analyzed the quality of varieties Braeburn, Gala and Pink Lady, as a representative of new varieties in apple production in Republika Srpska. Comparative analyzes were done with varieties Idared, Granny Smith and Golden Delicious, as well as representatives of the varieties that are grown for long period. Sensory evaluation of fruit included the analysis of the most significant external and internal characteristics by two groups of respondents (male and female respondents). Gala is best evaluated variety. Highly evaluated cultivars are Golden Delicious and Granny Smith, while the other tested varieties, received significantly lower ratings. |
