Summary:Rust caused by garlic and mushrooms Puccinia porri Puccinia alli fungi belonging to the Basidiomycota partition. In our agroecological conditions occur each year in a stronger or a weaker intensity. If severe outbreaks the leaves yellowing and dying prematurely, at the same time there is a renewed growth, and harm reduction is reflected in size of the bulbs which correlates with a decrease in yield. The paper is accompanied by reactions 20 genotypes of garlic, from the collections of the Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops in Novi Sad (Serbia), the casual agents of rust Puccinia sp. A survey was conducted in the field, while the intensity of infection was evaluated. In order to determine the harmfulness of these disease-causing agents have been done on yield analysis and morphological analysis of yield components: the mass of bulbs, the index (length and width), number external leaves, number of cloves, cloves and mass percentage of dry matter. There was a different sensitivity to these pathogen genotypes, and they separated, some genotypes that exhibit tolerance status clearly differentiated resistant, tolerant and sensitive genotypes. This feature can be used in the selection work in creating new varieties.
