Parallel testing of losses of grains on header in combining of buckwheat by fast method in the agro-ecological conditions of northern Kosovo and Metohia

Losses on header while harvesting are being expressed in terms of free grain, grains on cutted (fallen ears to the ground) and uncutted ears . Summary:Losses on header while harvesting are being expressed in terms of free grain, grains on cutted (fallen ears to the ground) and uncutted ears . Losses of grains depends on status of plants, moisture of grains and strow, weed, as well as regulations workin devices and level of adjustings to the working conditions and moving speed of combine. Losses an header in common working conditions are in the interval of 0.1-1.0%. Losses can be initiating by work of winch and cutting device. Rotation of winch should be adjusted to the moving speed of combine. Losses of header in common conditions are in the interval 0.1-1.0%. Can be initiating by work of winch and cutting device, while rotation number should be adjusted to the moving speed of combine. The objectives of our two years trials was to compare trials on two combine types to determine losses on header in buckwheat harvest and to show lacks and addvantages of applied concept.
