Summary:The paper presents the results dealing with the time spend on the said measures during the first and the second year of growth. The research was done on 4 plums cultivars (Cacanska Rodna, Cacanska Rana, Cacanska Lepotica and Stanley) that were grafted on a young wild plum (Prunus cerasifera Ehrh.) base, and cultivated at the planting distance of 4 x 2 m (1,250 trees per hectare). The planned cultivation form is the so-called Wide Spindle.
