Summary:The paper is synthesis of authors results and the results of other in the domain of technology and mechanization in seed corn production. Presented are comparative analyses of results in application of various technical solutions for tillage, sowing, fertilization, protection, detasseling and harvesting. Application of modern technical solutions leads to substantial production, economic and environmental advantages. Optimization of tillage and sowing is a prerequisite for efficient machine detasselling which replaces the labour of 80 workers.
