Summary:Resistance to crown rust (Puccinia coronata avenae) of spring oat varieties created in Kragujevac (Serbia) was studied in this paper. It was found that mayority of them (60%) were sensitive to this population of pathogen in the field conditions. High resistant varieties were not found while some of them (20%) were resistant and medium resistant. Only variety Labud manifested resistance during of three years of research and it could be used in the future breeding programs.
