Summary:During 1981-1982, the Fundulea Research Institute and the Oradea Research Station tested the effectiveness of several fungicides applied during the vegetation period, for the control of diseases in wheat. The following pathogens were recorded in the wheat crop: Septoria, Fusarium, Cercosporella, Erysiphe and Helminthosporium. The reduction of the damage caused by these pathogens was possible due to the application of: Methiltiofanat + Manco b (1.0+2.0 kg/ha), Dithane M-45 (2.0 kg/ha), Dithane F1 (3.75 kg/ha) and Bavical F (5.0 kg.ha). The maximum yield saved as a result of two treatments applied during the vegetation period, was 1174 kg/ha.
