Summary:The Raman and surface-enhanced Raman (SERS) spectra of aromatic amino acids (DL-Tryptophan) adsorbed on Ag colloidal particles have been obtained. Different adsorption behavior of these molecular species is discussed in the present study based on the Raman and SERS vibrational analysis of the related species. SERS substrate provide an innovative and powerful approach to protein and amino acids.
